We love comics, their cover arts and variant covers. So when a superhero movie is upcoming or released the next big thing to the cover art we get, are the superheroes movie poster. Sometimes superheroes movie poster gives you clues or hints, which die-hard fans can use to speculate. Other times you can just admire the artwork. 

 

It is a complete process when designing superheroes movie poster. There are times where the artist gives homage to their comic book covers, or use his creative freedom and the movie’s theme to create something spectacular. Moreover, because of China movie market, many of the artist create unique-visual superheroes movie poster for the Chinese populous. The following superheroes movie poster that I chose to feature are not the typical types of movies poster you’d imagine. Instead they are more artistic and visually-different. One of the reason for selecting the following posters was to show the admiration going into designing each of the art pieces. Though there are few exceptions where the official movie poster is featured because how cool they look.

Logan

This Logan IMAX poster was created by Dave Rapoza. The art style resemble hand-painted retro poster. 

This style remembers me of a movie called, A Scanner Darkly. So it is more like a live-action photography overlaid filter, created by Obiy Shinichi Art.

Now, this is more closer you get to an actual cover of a comic book, designed by Robert Sammelin.

This is created by Felix Tindal and gives a more minimal look to the poster by just using the silhouettes.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 

I really like how turquoise and black complement each other, giving the poster both dark and cool vibe. Found it from here.

Love the shadow spelling Vol. 2 another great use of silhouettes. This poster is designed by
Julien Rico and is part of Poster Posse—Phase 5 Of Our Tribute To James Gunn / Marvel’s “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2” Means It’s SHOWTIME!

This is another one from the Poster Posse, and is created by Simon Delart. 

This is the work of Ken Taylor, and the poster speaks out what we can expect from the movie. Which is complete badassery and fun.

Wonder Woman

 

You can see the attention to detail, which makes it amazing. This is designed by Amien Juugo and has another variant.

 

It captures one of the best action sequence in Wonder Woman, created by Doaly and is featured on Poster Posse—The Princess Of Themyscira On Wonder Woman Day.

Using the colors of Wonder Woman, yellow and red, really compliments the poster designed by Berkay Deglar. This is again featured on Poster Posse. 

Work of the Brave Union really encapsulate Wonder Woman and World War in this poster.

Spider-Man Homecoming

This digital-illustrated poster is the creation of Cristhian Hova. I like how the vector style is blended so beautifully together. 

This is awesome poster can be found on the Mondotees Facebook page. I love the culmination of both Parker and Spider-Man using ripple.

Thor: Ragnarok

This is another stunning visual style that can be a comic cover, designed by Dan Mumford.

This poster compliments Hela, and the green used here is not for Hulk but shows the overpower of the villain. This is created by the talented Marko Manev. 

Here the poster focuses more on the Valkyrie character and showcase how cool she looks. This poster is designed by Vance Kelly.

These are Marvel Thor Ragnarok's official poster that I found on Tumblr.

Justice League

This is a clever poster using Aquaman's Trident, I meant Quindent created by Genzo 

Another amazing poster done by the Brave Union, shows Justice League against there impending doom. Or, is the other way around, watch out Parademons. 

These are the official Justice League poster for China. Showing individual members of Justice League in an ancient-Chinese art style. See more of the characters here.

Both of them found on Tumblr, where one poster has a more vector-art style and the other gets the Lego makeover. 

This poster was done for Cinemark Theaters exclusively by Andrew Swainson. The concepts shows each of the Justice League member associated with their colors.
